Sangkuriang vs Buto Ijo

Hello guys! So I'm actually going to post something that I've been working on for my final project in uni. It's totally open and not a secret or anything, so might as well post it here to probably keep me motivated lol! This one I posted as a submission for the 2D Character Art Challenge

The story is based on a Sundanese Indonesian legend that tells the story of how the mountain Tangkubanparahu came to be. This mountain is near my home city, it's basically it's walls. Also, a bit of history about my city, how it came to be a lake in the past.

His true name is Sangkuriang, but I haven't settled on his false name yet (it's in the story that he doesn't know his true name). It will probably be Anggakara or Sangkalalana. Here's also the concept design that I've settled on for him.
